Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who is in Washington DC, the capital of the USA, was raided by protesters at the hotel where he was having dinner. Demonstrators entering the hotel lobby chanted slogans against Netanyahu, saying, 'Bibi, you can't hide, you're committing genocide.'
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's visit to the US is proving eventful. Netanyahu, who was having dinner at the Four Seasons Hotel in the Georgetown neighborhood of the capital Washington DC, became the target of protesters. The demonstrators, who suddenly raided the hotel lobby, tried to reach the restaurant where Netanyahu was located.
"YOU CAN'T ESCAPE, YOU CAN'T HIDE"
In the images rapidly spreading on social media, moments were shown where hotel security intervened with the protesters and tried to forcefully remove them. During the scuffle, the protesters were heard chanting slogans such as, "Bibi, you can't hide, you can't escape. You are committing genocide," reacting against the Israeli Prime Minister.
VISIT UNDER THE SHADOW OF THE ICC'S ARREST WARRANT
Behind this harsh protest against Netanyahu also lie the decisions taken by international law. As is known, the International Criminal Court (ICC) issued arrest warrants in 2024 for Netanyahu and former Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, citing war crimes and crimes against humanity committed during Israel's attacks on Gaza.
