The Presidency's Communication Directorate Disinformation Combat Center (DMM) stated that the claims regarding "a monetary fine will be imposed if one does not attend the MHRS appointment" do not reflect the truth.
The Communication Presidency's Disinformation Combat Center (DMM) announced that the claims regarding "fines being imposed for not attending or canceling MHRS appointments" are unfounded.
The DMM's statement on social media regarding the issue is as follows:
"Pages containing the phrase 'Appointment Cancellation Fine Notification' do not belong to the Ministry of Health systems."
"The claims circulating in various media that 'fines are imposed for not attending or canceling MHRS appointments' are unfounded. Making, canceling, or changing an appointment through MHRS is completely free of charge. Pages and links containing phrases such as 'Appointment Cancellation Fine Notification' shared in these claims do not belong to the Ministry of Health or MHRS systems. It is important for our citizens to carry out their transactions only through the official website of MHRS (https://mhrs.gov.tr) or the MHRS mobile application. Necessary legal processes are being carried out by the relevant authorities regarding these contents aimed at disinformation and deception."
