A travel ban has been imposed on businessman Sadettin Saran as part of the illegal betting investigations conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. Saran, who is under investigation for the alleged crime of violating Law No. 7258, has been prohibited from leaving the country due to the ongoing proceedings of the current case.
As part of the illegal betting investigations initiated by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, a travel ban has been imposed on businessman Saadettin Saran.
TRAVEL BAN IMPOSED
The investigations conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against illegal betting are ongoing. It was stated that, due to the course of the existing case, a travel ban decision has been made regarding Saran within the scope of the investigation carried out against businessman Saadettin Saran.
The statement included, "Regarding Saadettin Saran, who is under investigation for the crime of violating Law No. 7258, known to the public as illegal betting, a judicial control measure is currently being applied in the form of being unable to travel abroad, due to the course of the existing case."
WHAT HAPPENED?
Recently, it was claimed that illegal betting advertisements were made during the match broadcasts on S Sports, which he owns, and Saadettin Saran was called to give a statement. Saran clarified that there was no detention and that his statement was taken due to the match broadcasts.
