Hundreds of people affected by a sandstorm in the southeastern part of neighboring country Iran were taken to the hospital. "25 PEOPLE RECEIVED TREATMENT LYING DOWN," according to the Iranian Students News Agency (ISNA), Muhammad Halili, the pre-hospital emergency and incident management officer at Zabul University of Medical Sciences, provided information on the subject. Halili said, "620 people affected and injured by severe storms and dust in the Sistan region applied to various hospitals. 25 of them received treatment lying down." The Iranian official stated that 16 people were injured in traffic accidents due to reduced visibility caused by the sandstorm.
