The opponents of the Turkish National Football Team, which has been promoted to League A in the UEFA Nations League, will be determined by the draw to be held on Thursday, February 12.
THE DRAW WILL BE HELD IN BRUSSELS
The draw for the 2026-2027 season will take place in Brussels, the capital of Belgium, at 20:00 TRT. Turkey will participate in League A in the organization where 54 federations that are members of UEFA will compete.
TURKEY WILL PARTICIPATE FROM POT 4
Teams have been divided into pots according to the overall ranking of the UEFA Nations League for 2024-2025. Turkey will participate in the draw from pot 4 in League A.
The pots for League A are as follows:
- Pot: Portugal, Spain, France, Germany
- Pot: Italy, Netherlands, Denmark, Croatia
- Pot: Serbia, Belgium, England, Norway
- Pot: Wales, Czech Republic, Greece, Turkey
FORMAT AND SCHEDULE
The 8 teams that finish in the top two positions in their groups in League A will play two-legged quarter-finals. The winners of these matchups will participate in the final tournament to be held in June 2027.
Teams that finish last in Leagues A and B will be relegated to a lower league. The group winners in Leagues B and C, as well as the two group leaders in League D, will be promoted to a higher league. Additionally, play-off matches will be held among the teams finishing third and second in various leagues.
The tournament schedule is as follows:
- Matches 1 and 2: September 24-29, 2026
- Matches 3 and 4: September 30-October 6, 2026
- Matches 5 and 6: November 12-17, 2026
- Quarter-finals: March 25-30, 2027
- Final and third place match: June 9-13, 2027
