Striking results in the minimum wage survey: Citizens do not want an amount below 28,000 TL.

While millions of workers are focused on the rate of the minimum wage increase, striking results were obtained in the latest survey. In a poll conducted with over 2,000 people, the question "What do you think the minimum wage should be?" revealed that 47.7% of respondents chose the price range of 28,000 to 30,000 TL. It was also observed that most of the participants who earn minimum wage requested a salary above 28,000 TL.

While millions of minimum wage earners in Turkey focus on the upcoming salary increase, striking results emerged from a survey conducted by ASAL Research.

MORE THAN 2,000 PEOPLE PARTICIPATED

In a survey conducted between November 9-17 with 2,015 people in 26 provinces, participants were asked, "How much do you think the minimum wage should be?"

The survey revealed that 47.7% of respondents preferred a range of 28,000-30,000 TL, while it was noted that when all participants were considered, an amount below 25,000 TL was not desired.

WHAT DO CITIZENS WANT?

Here are the survey results:

According to all voters; 19,000-21,000 TL received 3.1%, 22,000-24,000 TL received 6.5%, 25,000-27,000 TL received 19.3%, 29,000-30,000 TL received 47.7%, and 31,000-33,000 TL received 23.4%.

When only minimum wage earners were asked, 19,000-21,000 TL received 0.6%, 22,000-24,000 TL received 1.1%, 25,000-27,000 TL received 6.0%, 28,000-30,000 TL received 50.3%, and 31,000-33,000 TL received 42.0%.
