THE FIRST PERIOD ENDED WITH OUR NATIONAL TEAM'S DOMINANCE
The match started with mutual baskets, and the first 8 minutes were closely contested. While Serbia received scoring contributions from 6 players, Turkey effectively utilized the paint with Ömer Faruk Yurtseven. In the final moments, the national team widened the gap with consecutive baskets from Tarık Biberovic, who stepped up with his outside shots, finishing the first period ahead 28-21.
THE 12 GIANT MEN ENTERED THE BREAK AHEAD
Continuing to score from the paint in the second quarter, the crescent-starred team reached a 16-point lead at the 16th minute: 41-25. In the fourth and final quarter, Turkey never lost control of the game and did not allow the gap to fall below 8 points, winning the match 94-86. The crescent-starred team achieved its third consecutive victory against Serbia.
THE TOP SCORERS OF THE MATCH
For the national team, Tarık Biberovic's 21 points and Ömer Faruk Yurtseven's 17 points made significant contributions to the victory. For Serbia, Aleksa Avramovic's 16 points and Ognjen Dobric's 14 points were not enough for victory.
