A 15-year-old unlicensed driver who failed to comply with the police's 'stop' order and attempted to flee in Aksaray was apprehended with the intervention of a security guard and the police. A total fine of 37,354 lira was imposed on the driver and the vehicle's registered owner.
In Aksaray, a child driver who attempted to flee after the police's 'stop' warning was caught at the last moment with the intervention of a guard and the police.
HE FLED WITHOUT STOPPING
The incident occurred on Atatürk Boulevard in the Paşacık neighborhood. According to the information obtained, the teams from the Provincial Security Directorate's public order and traffic branch, conducting routine checks with guards on the boulevard, issued a 'stop' warning to the vehicle with the license plate 71 ACP 895, which was heading towards the suspicious fork intersection. Instead of stopping by moving to the right lane, the driver attempted to escape by moving to the left lane, while the guard running alongside and the police officer who stepped in front of the vehicle effectively formed a wall to prevent the driver from escaping.
THE DRIVER TURNED OUT TO BE 15 YEARS OLD
While the police officer was ready with his weapon drawn in case of any negative developments, the driver was stopped and brought down from the vehicle. It was determined that the driver was 15-year-old F.G.O. without a license, and the woman next to him was his sister.
A FINE OF 37 THOUSAND LIRA WAS IMPOSED
As a result, the police teams imposed a fine of 18,677 lira on the child driver for driving without a license, and another 18,677 lira on the vehicle's registered owner for allowing an unlicensed person to drive, totaling 37,354 lira. The vehicle was then handed over to the child's family, who were called to the scene.
