The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) Arbitration Board rejected the appeals of 67 referees who were penalized with a ban due to betting. 82 referees did not appeal their penalties. The careers of 149 referees whose penalties have been finalized have come to an end.
According to a statement from the TFF, 149 referees referred to the Professional Football Discipline Board (PFDK) have been given penalties ranging from 8 to 12 months, and 67 of these referees have appealed the decision. The Appeals Board evaluated the appeals in its meeting and upheld the decisions made.
THE CAREER OF 149 REFEREES HAS ENDED
82 referees who received penalties from the PFDK did not appeal the decisions against them. Thus, the careers of the 149 referees whose penalties have been finalized have come to an end.
INVESTIGATION CONTINUES FOR 3 REFEREES
On the other hand, the files of referees Zorbay Küçük, Melih Kurt, and Mertcan Tubay, who were referred to the PFDK, are still under review by the board (PFDK).
