The commander of the Israel Defense Forces' Northern Command, Major General Rafi Milo, announced that they will intensify their attacks on Lebanon targeting Hezbollah. It was reported that in the joint operations conducted with the U.S., retaliatory measures were taken against Hezbollah's missile attacks following the killing of the Iranian leader.
Following the killing of Iranian leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in the joint attack by the US and Israel, Lebanon's Hezbollah participated in missile and rocket attacks, joining Iran's retaliations.
"THEY WILL PAY A HEAVY PRICE FOR THIS"
Israeli Army Northern Command Chief Major General Milo stated, "Hezbollah preferred the Iranian regime over the Lebanese state and launched attacks against our citizens. We were prepared for this, and they will pay a heavy price for it."
HEZBOLLAH'S HIGH-RANKING FIGURES WERE TARGETED
Major General Milo noted that they conducted a large-scale initial wave of attacks on Beirut and southern Lebanon, claiming that they targeted Hezbollah's senior leaders, headquarters, and infrastructure.
"ATTACKS CONTINUE, VIOLENCE WILL ESCALATE"
Pointing out that Israeli forces have been significantly reinforced along the Lebanese border, Milo threatened, "Attacks continue, and violence will escalate."

Hezbollah claimed responsibility for missile attacks on Israel during the night, announcing that they targeted the south of Haifa. In response, the Israeli army launched airstrikes across Lebanon.
