On August 21, 19 days after she went missing, the lifeless body of Narin Güran (8) was found and sent to Istanbul for autopsy. Her lifeless body was found on the 19th day of the search efforts, hidden under stones and bushes in a stream bed. In the investigation conducted by the Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, 12 people, including her uncle Salim Güran, who had DNA traces of Narin in his car, Nevzat Bahtiyar, who confessed to carrying the body, Narin's mother Yüksel Güran, and her brother Enes Güran, were arrested. THE BONES WERE BURIED NEXT TO THE CORPSEAs part of the investigation, the bones found in the same bag as Narin's body, which are believed to be her tibia and other bone fragments, were sent to the Istanbul Forensic Medicine Institution for autopsy. After the examination, the bones were brought back to Diyarbakır. The bones were taken to the cemetery in Tavşantepe neighborhood by a funeral vehicle belonging to the Metropolitan Municipality. In the cemetery, where intense security measures were taken, the grave where Narin was buried was opened, and the bones were buried next to the corpse. The opened grave was closed again.
