Iran's Health Ministry spokesman Hossein Kermanpur announced that the number of people killed in the US-Israel attacks has risen to 926. Kermanpur stated that 180 of the deceased were under the age of 18, and reported that 6,186 people were injured as a result of the attacks.
The death toll is rising in Iran, which is trying to resist the attacks of the US and Israel.
THE NUMBER OF DEATHS HAS RISE TO 926
Hussein Kermanpur, spokesperson for the Iranian Ministry of Health, stated regarding the latest situation in the country, "The number of our citizens who lost their lives in the recent incident is 926, and the treatment of 2,054 of the 6,186 injured is ongoing in various hospitals."
180 OF THEM ARE UNDER 18 YEARS OLD
The Iranian official noted that more than 12% of those killed in the US-Israel attacks were women, and stated that 180 of the deceased were under the age of 18. The Iranian Red Crescent had previously announced that 867 people had lost their lives in the US-Israel attacks.
US-ISRAEL'S ATTACKS ON IRAN
Israel and the US launched a military attack on Iran on February 28 while negotiations were ongoing between the Tehran and Washington administrations. Iran responded with attacks on targets it identified in several regional countries, including Qatar, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Bahrain, where US bases are located, in addition to Israel. In the US-Israel attacks, many high-ranking officials, including Iranian leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, were killed.
