Imam R.K. was released after his statement at the gendarmerie. A INVESTIGATION HAD BEEN OPENEDAn administrative investigation was launched by the Presidency of Religious Affairs regarding the allegations about Imam R.K. that appeared on social media and in the press. It was claimed that numerous sexually explicit videos and messages involving him were found on his phone, which was seized for examination. In the interrogation of the imam of the Tavşantepe village where Narin was murdered, it was alleged that when asked, "There are many porn videos on your phone, and one of the videos is a group sex video that you are also in," he responded, "We met a married couple, and later they came to Diyarbakır, and we were together."
