A drug-addicted individual who attacked police officers with a knife and injured the commissioner with a knife in Samsun was neutralized by being shot in the leg by the police. The injured attacker was taken to the hospital for treatment.

The incident occurred at night in the Yaşardoğu neighborhood of the Kavak district in Samsun. According to the information obtained, police teams responding to a report of an armed fight received information that T.K. (32), who allegedly had a criminal record for drug use, was using drugs in the attic of the house where the incident took place.

T.K., who caused a disturbance by throwing broken glass at the police, then attempted to escape by jumping out of the window.
