A 30-year-old tree that was uprooted in Antalya's Muratpaşa district fell onto five parked cars. There were no injuries in the incident, but the vehicles sustained significant damage. The car owners have contacted the authorities for damage assessment.

The incident occurred around 4:30 PM in 1251 Street, Sinan Neighborhood, Muratpaşa district. A tree on the street uprooted and fell on 5 parked cars.
GREAT PANIC ENSUED
As people nearby quickly moved away from the scene, they reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Police, medical, and fire teams were dispatched to the scene upon the notification. The medical and fire teams, who arrived at the scene shortly, checked whether anyone was inside the vehicles and under the fallen tree.
VEHICLE OWNERS REQUESTED DAMAGE ASSESSMENT
During the teams' inspection, it was determined that no one was trapped under the fallen tree, and a security cordon was established. Vehicle owners, who learned that their cars were trapped under the fallen tree, also arrived at the scene. The park and garden teams of the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality also came to the scene and started working. The owners of the 5 damaged vehicles informed municipal officials for damage assessment.
"I DON'T KNOW WHAT WE WILL DO"
Ahmet Kösen, whose vehicle was trapped under the tree, said, "Those who were parked here had discussed with the municipality about pruning the tree. Today, while my car was parked, the tree fell and trapped it. I have nearly one million lira in damages. I don't know how my damages will be compensated or what we will do at this point."
