The driver Beytullah Güller, his father Şükrü Güller, and Menevşe Güller lost their lives at the scene. A driver who set out to take his cancer-stricken father to the hospital in Sivas had his light commercial vehicle overturn into a ditch. In the accident, the cancer-stricken father, mother, and their son lost their lives.

According to the information obtained, the accident occurred near the village of Tatlıcak-Herekli in Sivas. The light commercial vehicle with license plate 06 ET 7861, driven by Beytullah Güller, lost control while heading towards Sivas as the driver lost his steering control.
