"MARDİN RESIDENTS WILL NOT ONLY GREET US, BUT ALSO VOTE FOR US"Özel, stating that it was a great honor for him to be the witness of the couple's marriage, mentioned that Azad Kılınçaslan is also the secretary of his party. Özel said, "Mehmet Kılınçaslan has made great efforts in CHP, never left the CHP flag down, and represented our party here in the best way. He is our colleague in politics and life, and has contributed to our party and to all of us. When our Provincial Chairman Mahmut Duyan brought the invitation, we had a very tight schedule, but I said, 'It is our duty to attend this wedding, we will find a way.' Azad continues where his father left off. Hopefully, he will achieve even greater success. I see from the interest shown to our party, to myself, to our deputies, and to our mayor in this hall that Mardin residents will not only greet us but also vote for us from now on. I am handing over this family booklet to Nurhan, based on the general acceptance of our party. Nurhan will keep this booklet, I entrust it to her. I also entrust Nurhan to Azad. May Allah make them happy." ÖZGÜR ÖZEL DANCED HALAYÖzel then put a Republic gold coin on the bride and danced halay with the groom and the guests. Özel left Mardin after the ceremony.
