The HDP party delegation met with Selahattin Demirtaş.

The process that started with the call of MHP leader Bahçeli continued with the DEM Party delegation's meeting with terrorist leader Öcalan in İmralı after a 4.5-year hiatus. After the İmralı visit, the delegation went on a tour of the Parliament to meet with political parties and engage in discussions on the matter.

THE DELEGATION MET WITH DEMİRTAŞ

The DEM Party delegation, consisting of Sırrı Süreyya Önder, Pervin Buldan, and Ahmet Türk, is holding a meeting with Selahattin Demirtaş, who is imprisoned in Edirne Prison. The visit started at 1:00 PM. Demirtaş, who has been in prison since 2016, was sentenced to 42 years in prison in a case related to the street protests that occurred on October 6-8, 2014.

FIGEN YÜKSEKDAĞ WILL ALSO BE VISITED

After the Demirtaş visit, the DEM Party delegation will meet with Figen Yüksekdağ, who is imprisoned in Kocaeli Kandıra Prison, on Sunday. This visit is also planned to take place at 1:00 PM.

THE DELEGATION WILL GO TO İMRALI ONCE AGAIN

It is expected that the DEM Party delegation will make a second visit to İmralı shortly after completing their contacts.
