The Houthis announced that the US and the UK have attacked Yemen.

The Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen announced that the US and the UK carried out 12 airstrikes on the capital Sana.

In a post on the Telegram account of the Houthi-affiliated al-Masirah television, it was stated that the US and the UK conducted 2 airstrikes on a region that includes the Ministry of Defense and 10 strikes on a region that includes the Ministry of Information in the capital Sana.

WHAT HAPPENED?

The Houthi Military Spokesman Yahya Saree had previously stated that the Houthi-affiliated Yemeni Armed Forces carried out two "qualitative military operations" with missiles.

In the first operation, Saree noted that "the Ben Gurion Airport in the Yafa region of occupied Palestine was targeted with 2 hypersonic ballistic missiles," and in the second, "the power plant south of occupied Jerusalem was hit with a ballistic missile."

Saree reported that the missiles successfully hit their targets in both attacks, emphasizing that the timing of the attack coincided with "the preparation of US forces for a major airstrike on their country, while the US aircraft carrier USS Harry Truman was targeted with numerous drones and missiles."
