A citizen who saw the bagels being distributed for charity in front of the Hagia Sophia Mosque said, "What will happen to all these bagels? The boxes are all full and stale... They have been bitten and thrown away. When did we become such a society? There is no explanation for this. This cannot be happening."

No citizen can witness the bagels being distributed in front of the Hagia Sophia Mosque with good intentions, capturing those moments and sharing on social media with the note, "There is no such waste. Shame on us."

"THEY HAVE BITTEN AND THROWN THEM AWAY"

A citizen expressing that all the boxes placed in front of the mosque are full and the bagels inside are stale said, "What will happen to all these bagels? All the boxes are full and in a stale condition... They have bitten and thrown them away. When did we become such a society? There is no explanation for this. Such a thing cannot happen."
