The incident occurred at an electric vehicle charging station on Şehit Miralay Nazım Bey Boulevard in the Hürriyet neighborhood of the Melikgazi district. According to the information obtained, a car that was charging at the station suddenly caught fire for an undetermined reason. Upon the reports of those who saw the flames grow in a short time, numerous firefighting and police teams were dispatched to the region.
EXPLOSION OCCURRED WHILE FIREFIGHTERS WERE INTERVENING
Firefighting teams, who arrived at the scene in a short time, used a special fire blanket to intervene in the electric car engulfed in flames. The teams, who covered the vehicle with a blanket and started intervening with water from the underside, experienced difficult moments. During the intervention, a violent explosion occurred in the electric car. Thanks to the calm and meticulous work of the teams, the fire was brought under control and extinguished after about 1 hour of effort.
INVESTIGATION INITIATED
After the fire, the luxury car completely burned and became unusable. Police and firefighting teams initiated a comprehensive investigation to determine the exact cause of the fire and explosion in the electric vehicle.
