In Manavgat, one person lost their life and three others were injured in an armed conflict that broke out among relatives due to a land dispute. An investigation has been initiated regarding the incident.

A dispute broke out among relatives who were previously claimed to have enmity due to a land disagreement in Yeniköy Neighborhood. As the argument escalated into a fight, the parties began to assault each other with stones and sticks.

Upon notification, 112 Emergency Health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene. During this time, A.E. (26) opened fire with a shotgun, resulting in the death of Oktay Kaya (41), while N.K. (23), A.E. (70), and Y.K. (47) were injured.

SUSPECTS IN CUSTODY

The injured were taken to nearby hospitals by ambulances. Kaya's body was taken to the Antalya Forensic Medicine Institute morgue after the prosecutor's examination. It was learned that the suspect A.E. and the injured A.E. were taken into custody.
