It has been learned that the monstrous mother, who killed her 2-year-old baby by giving him thinner in a bottle, blamed her sister in her statement at the police station. The child's aunt stated, "I took care of them like a rose for 4 days. In her statement, she said, 'My sister killed him' by poisoning the child. I told her to give the child medicine."

In Esenler, Dilek Ç. gave her 2-year-old baby a bottle filled with thinner to drink. The baby, who was taken to the hospital, passed away two months later. It was learned that the 23-year-old mother blamed her sister in her statement at the police station.

The incident occurred on Thursday, September 26, in Esenler. According to allegations, Dilek Ç. (23), who lives in Kırıkkale, had an out-of-wedlock child with her boyfriend Yılmaz E. After the father Y.E. did not take responsibility for her and the child, Dilek Ç. came to Istanbul to stay with her relatives. On the day of the incident, the mother put thinner in the baby’s bottle while at a park in Bağcılar. 2-year-old Emre Ç. drank the thinner from the bottle. The mother then went to her relatives' house in Esenler with the baby. When the baby fell ill at home, he was taken to a hospital in Fatih. The child, who spent 2 months in intensive care, passed away in the hospital yesterday.

MOTHER ARRESTED

After the child was taken to the hospital due to chemical poisoning, police teams detained the mother and father. During the interrogation at the police station, it was learned that the mother stated her child was born out of wedlock and that she fell into depression because the father did not take responsibility, leading her to commit this act. The mother was arrested and sent to prison while the father was released under judicial control.

TRIED TO SAVE HERSELF BY BLAMING HER SISTER

The father and aunt of 2-year-old little Emre spoke to Kanal D. Dilek Ç.'s sister stated that her sibling blamed her at the police station, saying, "I took care of them like a rose for 4 days. In her statement, she said, 'My sister killed him' by poisoning the child. I told her to give the child medicine. She said, 'I fought with my mother and brother, they beat me.' After the phone conversation, Dilek Ç. came to Istanbul from Kırıkkale. She said, 'My husband placed us in a hotel in Esenler.' She asked, 'My husband is working, can I stay with you for a few days?' She came here on Sunday. The child was very active and had nothing wrong with him. At the police station, she said, 'My sister did it, my sister killed him' by poisoning the child."

The father stated, "I learned about her pregnancy 7 months later; I wanted the child, but she said, 'No, I will take care of it myself.' We did not have a relationship; I saw her when she came to Istanbul. I went to take care of the child. I never lived with her; the child was mine. Right now, I have nothing to say. I am not married to Dilek. I am married to someone else."
