OPENING CAUSED CONFUSION IN THE CITY, GOVERNORATE'S STATEMENT
In a statement made by the Elazığ Governorship after the opening, it was stated that the buildings are not open for education and that they were not informed.
In the statement from the governorship, it was said, "Our Gazi MTAL building was damaged after the 2020 earthquakes, and although the reconstruction process is undertaken by the IMM, the construction process of the buildings is still ongoing. No information has been provided to our institutions regarding the provisional acceptance of the school.
Our buildings are also not open for education. The opening program of CHP Chairman Mr. Özgür Özel was carried out entirely by the IMM, without any prior consultation with our Governorship and Provincial Directorate of National Education. The procedures and principles for carrying out programs in the province are well defined in state practices," it was stated.
