While on her way to the hospital for childbirth in the Bünyan district of Kayseri, a woman became stranded on the road due to snow and blizzard, and gave birth in a gendarmerie vehicle that came to her aid.

According to a written statement from the governorship, D.Ş., who was pregnant and set out for childbirth from the Yünören neighborhood, along with her relatives in the vehicle, became stranded in the Elbaşı neighborhood due to heavy snowfall and blizzard. Upon the report of the woman's relative, N.Ş., teams from the Provincial Gendarmerie Command were dispatched to the area.

HEALTH STATUS IS GOOD

D.Ş., who was placed in the gendarmerie vehicle to be transported to the ambulance, gave birth in the vehicle after a while. It was later learned that both the mother and the baby's health status was good.
