During the inspection, when the weight of the bread in one of the businesses was found to be above average, the zoning teams thanked the business owner.
45 BUSINESSES WERE FINED
The zoning teams, which set out at 5:30 AM, conducted simultaneous inspections throughout the district. In the businesses, hygiene, weight, price list, and compliance with license conditions were examined one by one. As part of the inspections, 45 businesses were subjected to administrative fines under the provisions of Law No. 1608 for not complying with cleanliness and hygiene conditions. No negative findings were encountered in 151 businesses. All businesses were warned to comply with hygiene, weight, price list, and license conditions in order to protect public health.
THE HEALTH OF OUR CITIZENS IS OUR RED LINE
Emphasizing that inspections will continue uninterrupted, Tombaş stated, "Food safety from production to table and the health of our citizens is our red line. We will never allow the health of any of our citizens to be put at risk. Our aim is not to punish anyone; it is to ensure that all businesses in our district operate in a legal, healthy, and reliable manner. We will continue to take necessary actions within the legal framework against those who do not comply with the laws. I also thank the business owners who work hard, comply with the rules, and prioritize public health."
