Treasury Minister Şimşek announced that tax audits, especially for large corporations, will be increased.

Recently, efforts related to tax audits have gained momentum. Companies with inconsistencies in their declarations are invited to explain, while the Minister of Treasury and Finance, Mehmet Şimşek, stated that audits on businesses with inconsistencies in their tax declarations will be tightened.

HE ADDRESSED LARGE COMPANIES

Minister Şimşek, in a statement made from his X account, said, "We are increasing our audits on businesses that abuse their dominant power in the market and have inconsistencies between their profits and tax declarations. We will not allow a competitive advantage through tax evasion, and we will further strengthen fairness in taxation."
