In a written statement from the White House, the decree signed by Trump was shared with the public. The decree reminded of the ongoing threats of external attacks against Qatar, stating, "The policy of the United States is to guarantee the security and territorial integrity of Qatar against external attacks."

The decree also stated that the US would consider any attack on Qatar's territory, sovereignty, or critical infrastructure as a threat to the peace and security of the United States.

Additionally, the decree emphasized that in the event of an attack on Qatar, Washington would take "all legal and appropriate measures, including diplomatic, economic, and if necessary, military, to defend the interests of the US and Qatar and to restore peace and stability."

ISRAEL'S ATTACK ON QATAR

The Israeli army had carried out an airstrike on September 9 against a building in Doha, the capital of Qatar, where the Hamas negotiation team was located.

In the attack, which the leadership cadre of Hamas survived, 6 people lost their lives, including the son of Khalil al-Hayya, a member of the Hamas Political Bureau, 4 Hamas members, and one Qatari police officer.
