Marmaris is preparing to combine its deep-rooted connection with the sea with gastronomy. Turkey's first seafood festival will be held from October 1 to 5, 2025, in Selimiye, Bozburun, Söğüt, and Taşlıca. The Marmaris Seafood Festival, which kicks off with the slogan "From the Sea to the Table, From the Table to the World," will welcome its visitors with a rich content ranging from local fishing to chef performances, concerts, and panels.
JOURNEY FROM THE SEA TO THE TABLE
The festival brings together the Aegean's seafood heritage with gastronomy and culture. In the event where fish caught from the sea in the morning will be brought to the tables, traditional cooking techniques and innovative presentations will be showcased together. Additionally, environmental sustainability will be prioritized with projects such as low-waste service, recycling practices, and the "Back to the Sea" environmental initiative.
FAMOUS CHEFS ENTERING THE KITCHEN
The organization is led by Gastronomy Expert Ebru Omurcalı. Many renowned chefs from both domestic and international backgrounds will be on stage throughout the festival.
