Two people died from poisoning due to counterfeit alcohol in Istanbul, and three suspects were detained. TWO PEOPLE DIED FROM COUNTERFEIT ALCOHOLAccording to the information received, after two of the seven people who were treated in the hospital for poisoning from counterfeit alcohol in Şişli and Beyoğlu lost their lives, police teams initiated an investigation. As a result of the investigation, it was determined that the counterfeit alcohol was distributed from an apartment in a building located on Dolapdere Street. 400 LITERS SEIZEDDuring the operation conducted by the Beyoğlu District Police Department teams at the address, approximately 400 liters of counterfeit alcohol were seized, and one suspect was detained. The Şişli District Police Department teams also conducted an operation at a liquor store on Kurtuluş Street upon receiving a tip-off about the sale of counterfeit alcohol. The teams seized a quantity of counterfeit alcohol from the delivery riders near the store and detained two suspects.
