Volleyball: Imoco Volley Beat Eczacibasi Vitra 3-1

Turkish team Eczacibasi VitrA make bad start to women's volleyball championships after they lose to Italian opponent.

Turkey's women volleyball team Eczacibasi VitrA were beaten by Italy's Imoco Volley 3-1 in their first game in the 2019 Women's FIVB Club World Championships on Tuesday.

Imoco Volley won the sets against Eczacibasi VitrA by 25-20, 25-22, 22-25, 25-21 in the Pool A match in Shaoxing, China.

Eczacıbasi VitrA will face Brazil's Itambe Minas for their second match of the tournament on Wednesday.

The 2015 and 2016 winners Eczacibasi VitrA are in the Pool A along with Guangdong Evergrande from China, Imoco Volley and Itambe Minas.

Top two teams in each group will move to the semifinals of the competition which run through Dec. 8. -
