Yiğit Bulut's remarks about lieutenants infuriated Metiner: AK Party is in this state because of trash like you.

The sharing of Lieutenant graduates, who were on the agenda with the swearing-in ceremony of Presidential Advisor Yiğit Bulut, infuriated former AK Party deputy Mehmet Metiner.

300-400 of the 960 graduate lieutenants who took an oath during the official part of the Land Forces Academy graduation ceremony had gathered with their swords after the ceremony. The lieutenants, led by the top graduate of their class, had taken another oath by chanting the slogan "We are Mustafa Kemal's soldiers!" This situation, which caused controversy in politics, also brought Presidential Advisor Yiğit Bulut and former AK Party deputy Mehmet Metiner face to face.

METINER: I CAN'T DIGEST IT

Mehmet Metiner wrote on his X account, "I can't really digest the perspective that says it is perfectly natural for those lieutenants to commemorate Atatürk but does not directly say a word about the illegal oath ceremony in the middle."

ÇELIK: INSULTING LIEUTENANTS IS UNACCEPTABLE

AK Party Spokesperson Ömer Çelik, after his party's Central Decision and Executive Board meeting, stated that no guardianship would be allowed and said, "Our Turkish Armed Forces have graduated new cadets. These young people have been trained for the future of Turkey. Those who say 'they drew their swords against the government' want to revive guardianship. Insulting lieutenants who have been trained for the future of the Turkish Armed Forces is unacceptable."

YİĞİT BULUT'S "RAG AND RUBBISH" MESSAGE

Presidential Advisor Yiğit Bulut shared Çelik's words on his X account and included the statement, "'Whatever Ömer Çelik says about 'lieutenants' and 'swearing-in ceremony' is true! It is in vain to try to create discord between the rag and rubbish, the marginalized, the great Turkish nation, and the Turkish Armed Forces! Let's be careful against the efforts of crypto FETÖ members, regardless of which party they belong to."

Metiner was angered by Bulut's "rag and rubbish" remark and accusation of "crypto FETÖ members." Metiner, who stated that Bulut "beats people with AKP's stick," responded with the following: "Know your place before you speak! It is an expression of insolence to accuse anyone who opposes or criticizes with this attitude. When did you become more AK Party than everyone else and beat people with AK Party's stick! Our AK Party has come to this state thanks to rag and rubbish like you. It is your tongue that is the troublemaker!"

"LOOK AT YOURSELF"

In another post, Metiner accused Bulut of playing "tricks": "There is no need for cunning. No need for tricks either. To target and accuse people who have devoted their lives to their cause, who have been shoulder to shoulder with us for forty years, just because they criticized the illegal oath ceremony of those lieutenants, by taking refuge behind the name of our party's spokesperson Ömer Çelik, even creating the perception that he is the approving authority of those words, is a dirty trick beyond insolence. Look at yourself! Is Mr. Bahçeli, who criticized the illegal oath ceremony of those lieutenants, a crypto FETÖ member? Or is he a troublemaker who wants to pit the Turkish nation against the Turkish Armed Forces? Or are people like our former minister Mustafa Varank, who have been companions of the President from the very beginning?"

"I WILL GO THROUGH YOU"

Bulut's response was not delayed. Bulut made two more posts and threatened Metiner without mentioning his name, saying, "I think you shouldn't push me any further! I will go through you!"
