Aylin Görgülü, a 12th-grade student, lost her life after jumping onto the tracks at Hacıosman Metro Station in Istanbul. HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT AYLIN TOOK HER LIFE ON THE METRO TRACKS
The incident occurred around 4:45 PM at Hacıosman Metro Station. According to the information obtained, Aylin Görgülü, a 12th-grade student studying at a high school in Ayazağa, arrived at the station. As the metro approached, Görgülü jumped onto the tracks. Emergency medical, fire, and police teams arrived at the scene upon the notification of those nearby. Health teams determined that 17-year-old Görgülü had lost her life during their checks.
SHE SENT A MESSAGE TO HER FRIEND: I WAS NOT WORTHY OF YOU
After the work of the crime scene investigation teams and the public prosecutor, Aylin Görgülü's body was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institution's morgue. In the investigation conducted by the police teams, it was learned that Görgülü had sent a message to her friend indicating that she would take her own life, saying, "Brother, I was not worthy of you." An investigation has been launched regarding the incident.

After the incident, services at Hacıosman Metro Station, which was closed, returned to normal after the teams completed their work.
