In Zeytinburnu, Istanbul, two out of four people who arrived at a business had an argument with the owner. After the argument, the owner fired shots at the two individuals, while the other two outside also opened fire at the shop. In the ensuing conflict, the two individuals who had argued with the owner lost their lives, while one person in the adjacent shop was injured.
Two of the four people who came to a business in Zeytinburnu, Istanbul, lost their lives after a shooting following an argument with the business owner. One person was also injured in the incident. The police continue their search for the two suspects who fled.
GUNS SPOKE IN THE FIGHT AT THE BUSINESS
The incident occurred around 8:30 PM on Modabağ A Street in the Çırpıcı neighborhood of Zeytinburnu, Istanbul. According to reports, Fatih A. and Ümit Ö. entered a business after arriving in front of it with two other individuals. An argument broke out between H.A., the business owner, and the two individuals who entered, the reason for which is still unknown. As the argument escalated, H.A. fired at Fatih A. and Ümit Ö. with a gun he had with him.
2 PEOPLE LOST THEIR LIVES
At that moment, the other two individuals outside the business opened fire inside. As the two suspects fled the scene, a person standing in front of the adjacent shop was injured in the leg by the bullets. Upon notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. The injured individual was taken to the hospital by ambulance after the first intervention by the medical teams.
It was determined during the examination at the scene that Fatih A. and Ümit Ö. had lost their lives. Police teams took security measures in the street. After the work of the crime scene investigation teams, the bodies of the two individuals were taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute's morgue. H.A., who fled the scene, was quickly caught and detained by the police. The search for the two individuals who fled from in front of the shop is still ongoing by the security forces.
