B.K., 47, who was wanted internationally by Tajikistan for drug trafficking, was detained in an operation in Beylikdüzü, Istanbul.

B.K., 47, who was internationally wanted by Tajikistan for drug trafficking, was taken into custody in an operation held in Istanbul's Beylikdüzü district.

Teams from the Istanbul Provincial Police Department's Anti-Narcotics Branch Directorate, within the scope of their efforts to apprehend internationally wanted suspects, determined that B.K., who was wanted by Tajik judicial authorities for "drug trafficking" and whose extradition to the country was requested, was in Istanbul.

CAUGHT IN OPERATION HELD IN BEYLİKDÜZÜ

The suspect was taken into custody in an operation held in Beylikdüzü the previous day. It was determined that B.K. had engaged in drug trafficking in Uzbekistan, obtained addresses used for the concealment and storage of narcotics, and generated income from these activities.

It was reported that the captured suspect will be handed over to the Removal Center upon completion of the necessary legal procedures and within the scope of the ongoing judicial process against him.
