In a gunfight between two groups at a butcher shop in Diyarbakır, 66-year-old Zülfü Coşan and his 36-year-old son Ensari Coşan lost their lives. Five suspects who were taken into custody in connection with the incident have been arrested.

In Diyarbakır, five suspects who were detained in relation to a gunfight that broke out between two groups in a butcher shop, resulting in the deaths of Zülfü Coşan (66) and his son Ensari Coşan (36), and injuries to two others, were arrested by the court to which they were brought.

On the evening of November 4 in Diyarbakır, a gunfight occurred in a butcher shop located on Diclekent Boulevard in the Talaytepe neighborhood of the Kayapınar district.

2 PEOPLE LOST THEIR LIVES

A dispute had erupted between the group that came to the workplace and those inside. The argument quickly escalated into a gunfight, which was recorded by bystanders using their mobile phone cameras.

It was observed that one person who fired a weapon fled the scene in a car. Health and police teams were dispatched to the area following a report. Four injured individuals were taken to hospitals after initial interventions. Zülfü Coşan and his son Ensari Coşan, who were in critical condition, could not be saved.

5 PEOPLE WERE ARRESTED

As part of the investigation initiated by the prosecutor's office, five suspects identified as being involved in the incident were detained. After their procedures at the police station, the suspects were brought to the courthouse today, where they were arrested and sent to prison. Efforts are ongoing to capture one suspect who is still wanted in connection with the incident.
