Fatmanur Çelik, who was found dead at sea in Zeytinburnu, and her 8-year-old daughter Hifa İkra Şengüler were buried at Ihlamurkuyu Cemetery following a ceremony held at Ümraniye Hidayet Mosque. A brief scuffle occurred among the Çelik family and the women attending the ceremony during the funeral.
On March 1st, it was determined that Fatmanur Çelik (30), who was found motionless in the sea at Kazlıçeşme Beach in Zeytinburnu, and her daughter Hifa İkra Şengüler (8) had lost their lives. The bodies of the mother and daughter were taken to the Forensic Medicine Institution Morgue for autopsy.
LAST DUTY TO MOTHER AND DAUGHTER
The bodies, after the procedures were completed here, were handed over to their relatives. A funeral ceremony was held at Ümraniye Hidayet Mosque for Fatmanur Çelik and her daughter Hifa İkra Şengüler. The ceremony was attended by Fatmanur Çelik's relatives and loved ones.

After the noon prayer, the funeral prayer was performed. Women carried the bodies to the funeral vehicle. The bodies of Fatmanur Çelik and Hifa İkra Şengüler were buried at Ihlamurkuyu Cemetery.
