A bus accident claimed lives in Yemen. As a result of the intercity bus veering off the road and overturning on its way from Aden to Taiz, 16 people, including 2 children, lost their lives, while 3 people were injured, one of them seriously.
THE CAUSE OF THE ACCIDENT IS A MALFUNCTION IN THE BRAKE SYSTEM
A local official stated after the accident, "A sudden malfunction in the bus's brake system caused the driver to lose control." Ghanem Al-Najashi, the official responsible for inspecting the maintenance of the Karba Al-Sahi road where the accident occurred, reported that there were approximately 114 traffic accidents on the road in the first half of 2024, resulting in the death of around 9 people.
