Gürsel Tekin, who was appointed as a trustee to the CHP Istanbul Provincial Presidency by a court decision, went to the front of the CHP Istanbul Provincial Presidency. The tension that started after the cancellation of the CHP Istanbul Provincial Congress and the appointment of Gürsel Tekin continues. A water bottle was thrown at Gürsel Tekin, who came to the provincial presidency.

Speaking in front of the building, Tekin stated, "All your questions will be answered. We are extremely comfortable. Water is good, it brings abundance. Why should I be protected with an umbrella? It's no problem at all, let them shoot bullets if they want. We are not protected by anything in our father's house," he said.
"THERE WILL BE NO REACTION FROM CHP MEMBERS"
Continuing his remarks, Tekin said, "I want the public to listen to us carefully." He added, "I, along with my friends in the delegation, have not been a part of any of the issues that have occurred until today. In fact, I went further and warned friends who spoke harshly as Gürsel Tekin, who was not a delegate when the congress took place, not to do so. Unfortunately, at the end of the day, the issue between the parties has unfortunately fallen into the corridors of the court after 1.5 years. We are not trustees. The trustees are in Esenyurt and Şişli. My friends and I have established all contacts. Our duty is to eliminate the injustices faced by both the delegates and our provincial administrators. There will be no reaction from CHP members towards me. I know who they are," he stated.
