The Salih İşgören Police Station in the Balçova district of İzmir was targeted in an armed attack in the morning hours. STATEMENT FROM MINISTERS
Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya shared the names of the martyred police officers on his social media account and published a message of condolence. Justice Minister Yılmaz Tunç announced that a comprehensive investigation has been launched by the İzmir Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the attack.
