Access to the official X account of the cryptocurrency service provider Bybit TR has been blocked. Users attempting to enter the account are met with the warning "Access has been blocked in TR due to a legal request."
Those who enter Bybit's local cryptocurrency service provider Bybit TR's official X account in Turkey are met with a warning that the account has been blocked.
"WE ARE WORKING TO UNDERSTAND AND RESOLVE THE ISSUE"
In a statement made by Bybit TR, it was said, "We would like to inform our users that there is currently an issue accessing our official X account @BybitTurkiye from Turkey. Our team is actively working in close collaboration with X and relevant institutions to understand the cause of this issue and resolve it as soon as possible. We would like to emphasize that this situation does not affect Bybit TR's services and operations in Turkey in any way. All our services continue uninterrupted."
DID THE ACCESS RESTRICTION COME FROM A 'LOTTERY'?
Experts, noting that the access restriction decision may have been made due to unauthorized lottery and raffle organization, state that in order to organize a lottery or raffle, permission must be obtained from the National Lottery Administration in accordance with the provisions of the "Regulation on Non-Cash Lotteries and Raffles." They emphasize that this permission is very important for the official status of the raffle to be held and for the promised prizes to be delivered as a result of the raffle.
PRIZE RAFFLES ARE DRAWING ATTENTION
On the Bybit TR website, announcements published on April 11, May 27, and July 18, 2025, show that events with prizes such as 5 Teslas, 10 Rolexes, 30 iPhone 16s, and millions of lira have been organized. However, there is no application related to Bybit TR in the list published by the National Lottery Administration for raffles permitted between 01.01.2022 and 31.12.2025.
