The "Payment and Electronic Money Institution Account Ownership Inquiry" service developed by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey has been made available on e-Government. Thanks to the new service, citizens will be able to view at which payment and electronic money institutions they have accounts on a single screen. Account information belonging to persons of whom one is an heir can also be queried through the system.
The "Payment and Electronic Money Institution Account Ownership Inquiry" service, developed by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) in collaboration with electronic money institutions, has been made available on the e-Government Gateway.
YOU WILL BE ABLE TO SEE WHICH INSTITUTIONS YOU HAVE ACCOUNTS WITH
In a statement from the CBRT, it was noted that the Bank, which continues its duty to regulate and supervise the payment services field under Law No. 6493, continues its efforts to ensure the safe, uninterrupted, and efficient operation of the sector.
Thanks to the new service developed in this context, real persons will be able to view which payment and electronic money institutions they have accounts in, through the e-Government Gateway.
HEIRS CAN ALSO MAKE INQUIRIES
The new service will not be limited only to individuals' own accounts. Citizens will also be able to inquire through the system about the account information of persons for whom they are heirs, held at payment and electronic money institutions.
LIST OF AUTHORIZED INSTITUTIONS IS ON THE CBRT WEBSITE
The CBRT announced that the current list of authorized payment and electronic money institutions will continue to be published in the "Payment Services" section on the Bank's website.
