Actor Ercan Ertan drew attention to the decline in the quality of the theater world. Ertan stated that rapidly staged theater plays are of poor quality and can cause the audience to lose interest in theater. He also expressed that some actors do not even fully read the script of the play they are performing, which poses a great danger for new theater audiences.

Actor Ercan Ertan, who was a guest on Melis Yaşar's show at Haberler.com studio, drew attention to the decrease in quality despite the increasing number of plays being staged in the theater world. Ertan said, "There should be a theater on every corner, and today we have almost started to move towards that. However, as the number increased, the quality started to decrease," he said.

"NO PLAY CAN BE PRODUCED IN 10 DAYS, STAY AWAY"

Ertan, who warned against the rapid staging of theater plays, said, "They are producing plays in 10 days. No play can be produced in 10 days; if a play is being produced every 10 days, you need to stay away from that play," he said. He pointed out that hastily prepared plays like this can alienate the audience from theater.

"THERE ARE ACTORS WHO DON'T EVEN READ THE SCRIPT OF THE PLAY THEY PERFORM"

Ercan Ertan also emphasized that some actors don't even fully read the script of the play they perform, saying, "Anyone can go on stage, anyone can be an actor, but where is the quality? I know actors who don't read the entire play they perform." He added that this situation poses a great danger for theater newcomers as well.
