Diplomacy on the "Framework Law" under the roof of the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM) has accelerated. After TBMM Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş's visits to political parties, the DEM Party's Imrali Delegation met with the AK Party Group to discuss the details. With the meeting lasting approximately one hour, attention has turned to the drafting process of the bill, which is planned to be presented to the Parliament next week.
The diplomacy traffic regarding the "Framework Law" in politics has gained momentum. The DEM Party Imrali Delegation visited the AK Party Parliamentary Group for a high-level meeting to evaluate the content of the law.
THE SUMMIT WAS HELD AT THE AK PARTY GROUP
The critical meeting, held behind closed doors at the AK Party Group, lasted approximately one hour. At the meeting, the AK Party side was represented by Deputy Chairman Efkan Ala, Group Chairman Abdullah Güler, and Party Spokesperson Ömer Çelik. During the meeting with the DEM Party Imrali Delegation, mutual evaluations were made regarding the ongoing process and the details of the framework law planned to be drafted.
CRITICAL CONTACT FOLLOWING NUMAN KURTULMUŞ'S VISITS
This contact was one of the first concrete meetings following Turkish Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş's visits to political parties last week regarding the framework law agenda. The aim is to shape the main parameters to be covered by the law during the negotiation process.
THE PROPOSAL IS EXPECTED TO BE SUBMITTED TO PARLIAMENT NEXT WEEK
In the next phase of the process related to the framework legal regulation, group coordinators of political parties serving on the National Solidarity, Brotherhood, and Democracy Commission will come together. Following the work of the coordinators, who will convene to complete the drafting of the bill, the prepared proposal is expected to be submitted to the Turkish Parliament Speaker's Office next week.
