In the investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding banned substances involving 19 famous individuals, 8 people tested positive. Gülben Ergen, who reacted to the public disclosure of the test results, stated, "Why should being famous or in the public eye be a reason for judgment?"
The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office conducted operations at the homes of 19 famous individuals early in the morning on October 8, on the grounds of allegedly using banned and stimulant substances. It was announced that there was no arrest warrant that day, and the famous individuals were released after their statements and blood samples were taken.
Hair and blood samples were taken from the individuals taken to the Forensic Medicine Institution for necessary analyses. It was determined that 8 out of the 19 individuals tested positive. The names of those who tested positive were learned to be Dilan Polat, Derin Talu, Deren Talu, Birsen Berrak Tüzünataç, Birce Akalay, Kubilay Aka, Metin Akdülger, and Kaan Yıldırım.
