A total of 117 kilograms and 434 grams of drugs, along with a large number of production and sales materials, were seized during the operation, and 5 suspects were detained.
IT WAS DETECTED THAT IT WAS SMUGGLED INTO THE COUNTRY FROM ABROAD
Based on the information that drugs were smuggled into the country wrapped around them, the Edirne Customs Enforcement Smuggling and Intelligence Directorate teams initiated an operation. The suspects were tracked through the Ministry of Trade systems. After the suspects entered the Kapıkule Customs Directorate area, 4 kilograms and 90 grams of MDMB type drug were seized from one suspect during the search.
THEY USED THE HOUSE AS A DRUG MANUFACTURING FACILITY
As a result of the expansion of the operation upon the prosecutor's order, a suspect who came to receive drugs in Edirne was detained. During the searches at the buyer's residence, it was determined that the house was used as a drug manufacturing facility. In the searches conducted in the house, a total of 117 kilograms and 434 grams of MDMB type drug, 65,000 ready-to-sell drug pills, 2 machines used in drug production, 1 compressor, 1 mixer, a large number of green prescription drug labels, blisters, precision scales, and empty capsules were seized.
1 SUSPECT WAS CAUGHT WHILE TRYING TO ESCAPE TO GREECE
During the operations, simultaneous raids were conducted at 4 different addresses in Edirne, while 1 suspect was caught in the buffer zone at the Pazarkule Customs Gate while trying to escape to Greece. A total of 5 suspects were detained and referred to the judicial authorities.
