MEETING WITH TRUMP EXPECTED ON WEDNESDAY
In a statement from Netanyahu's office, it was noted that the Israeli Prime Minister is expected to meet with U.S. President Donald Trump in Washington next Wednesday. The main agenda item of the meeting is expected to be the negotiations with Iran.
"BALLISTIC MISSILES AND REGIONAL SUPPORT MUST BE ON THE TABLE"
The statement emphasized that Netanyahu believes any potential agreement with Iran should not be limited to nuclear activities. It was noted that the Israeli Prime Minister believes the negotiations should also include restrictions on Iran's ballistic missile program and the cessation of support to Tehran's regional allies.
It is pointed out that Netanyahu's contacts in Washington coincide with a critical period regarding the increasing tensions in the Middle East and the future of the Iran dossier.
After eight months, an agreement was reached to continue negotiations following the first indirect talks held in Oman on February 6.
