Dominik Livakovic, who was transferred on loan to Dinamo Zagreb, made statements to the Croatian media. Commenting on the transfer process, the Croatian goalkeeper said, "I received many offers from Italy, but I had already agreed with the Dinamo Zagreb management in November and I was no longer interested in any other club. I am very happy to be back."
Livakovic, who was loaned from Fenerbahçe to La Liga team Girona at the beginning of the season but did not find what he hoped for, has been transferred on loan to his former team Dinamo Zagreb. The Croatian goalkeeper spoke about his return process and goals in an interview with the club's official channel, Dinamo+.
"I RETURNED EARLIER THAN I EXPECTED"
Speaking about his return to Dinamo Zagreb, Livakovic said, "My feelings are great. I didn't expect to return this early when I left. I am very happy and proud. Wearing the Dinamo jersey again is an amazing feeling."
"I HOPE TO REACH 300 MATCHES"
Having played 293 matches so far in the Dinamo Zagreb jersey, Livakovic stated, "It would be a bit strange to stay at 293 matches. I hope to stay healthy and reach 300 matches. This number is really valuable in such a big club. Every player takes pride in this."
"I REACHED AN AGREEMENT IN NOVEMBER"
The experienced goalkeeper, who mentioned that other clubs were also interested in him during the transfer process, said, "There were many offers, especially from Italy. However, I reached an agreement with the Dinamo management in November. After that, no other club interested me. I made this decision for both sporting reasons and because of the emotional bond I have with Dinamo."
