An incident that outraged animal lovers occurred in the United States. At Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, a woman was taken into custody after she tied her dog to the counter and left it behind due to a lack of paperwork that prevented the dog from boarding the plane. The dog is now under protection and a search for a new home has begun after a 10-day legal period.

An astonishing incident occurred at Harry Reid International Airport in the USA. A 2-year-old Goldendoodle named "Jet Blue" was abandoned by its owner at the ticket counter. In the footage captured by security cameras, it was seen that the woman arrived at the ticket counter with her dog, but she could not provide the necessary documents for the animal to travel as a "service dog."

The woman, unable to obtain a boarding pass, left the area by tying her dog's leash to the ticket counter.

"IT HAS A TRACKING DEVICE, IT WILL COME BACK TO ME"

Police teams found the woman at the boarding gate during a search at the airport following a tip-off. During her arrest, the woman resisted the officers, stating that the dog had a tracking device, implying that leaving it behind was not a problem and that the dog would return to her.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department issued a warning on social media, stating, "We can't believe we have to say this, but please do not leave your dog at the airport or anywhere else."

CUTE ANIMAL UNDER PROTECTION

The dog, kept safe by airport staff and police officers, was later handed over to animal protection services.

After the 10-day waiting period mandated by law, during which the owner did not reclaim the dog, Jet Blue was placed in the care of a non-profit organization called "Retriever Rescue of Las Vegas."

Retriever Rescue of Las Vegas announced that Jet Blue is now safe and with a foster family.

The organization stated that they would be very meticulous in choosing a family that would offer the dog lifelong loyalty and security after the trauma it experienced.
