Ahu Tuğba, one of the unforgettable artists of Yeşilçam, passed away at the age of 69 in her home in Miami, and her death was announced by her close friend Nuri Alço. Tuğba, who had been struggling with advanced asthma for a long time, underwent an 8-hour surgery after a car accident last April and spent 3 weeks in intensive care.

SHE HAD LEFT A WILL

In the will she prepared years ago, the artist stated that she had donated her organs, expressed that she was not afraid of death, and mentioned that her biggest concern was her relationship with her daughter. Tuğba said, "My lung was going to be removed. I was going to have surgery. I didn't tell my daughter that I would have surgery; I said, 'I'm sleeping at home in Bodrum.' Since anesthesia was prohibited, I wrote my will. On the day I was going to surgery, I directly called the notary to my side. I had my will written because they told me anesthesia was prohibited. I also donated my organs. I didn't know if I would live or die after the surgery. My biggest fear was not being able to see my daughter again. I wasn't afraid of death. While I was being transferred, my daughter came to Bodrum. She thought I was in Bodrum. I said, 'I'm in a hotel.' While I was going from Izmir to Istanbul, I changed my route from Izmir to Bodrum. For the first time in my life, I lied to my daughter. It was a miracle that she felt these things and came. The reason I am alive was my daughter, who prevented me from having surgery. My doctor told me that there was no need for surgery." she stated.

HER FUNERAL IS BEING BROUGHT TO TURKEY

The process had been delayed due to Ahu Tuğba's autopsy procedures. Her daughter Anjelik Calvin announced on social media that the date of her mother's funeral would be confirmed this Friday evening and stated that her mother would be buried in Zincirlikuyu Cemetery. Anjelik Calvin said on her mother's social media account, "The time and day of my love's funeral has not been confirmed. I wanted to make it by this weekend, but I couldn't make it by Friday, God forgive me, but we will be in Turkey this Friday evening. I am coming on the same plane. I will definitely inform you once the place and time are confirmed."
